About Cultural Association of India (CAI)
Since 1985, The Cultural Association of India, CAI, has been the cultural voice of the Indian community in the Greater Wichita and her surrounding areas. The organization seeks to promote awareness of India and her rich culture amongst Wichitan residents. Every year the CAI brings the communities of Wichita together through Indian festivities. These celebration promotes understanding and educates the public as well as our next generation about Indian traditions, history and heritage. Education is the glue that bonds a community together and the CAI is firmly committed to promoting education by sponsoring scholarships to deserving students to assist them with tuition payments. Additionally, the CAI in partnership with local businesses conducts Food Drives, Scholarships, Miss India Wichita Pageant & provides special assistance to people in need.
It is our sincere belief that through education, awareness & collaboration, barriers are broken down and harmony is maintained.
